Can you pen a prize-winning Oxford-based thriller in under 300 words?
To celebrate our crime-themed week, we're asking you to write a pice of Oxford-based thriller flash fiction.
For those unfamiliar with flash fiction, it's a style of literature of extreme brevity. While there's no definitive limit on length, we're asking you, our readers, to write us a short thriller, set in Oxford, of 300 words or fewer. Of all the entries, the five judged to be the best will receive a copy of Morse in Oxford by Annie Bullen.
Each entry should consist of no more than 300 words, be clearly set in Oxford, and, above all, thrill the reader. Please email your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line 'Flash Fiction Competition'. The closing date is March 28th. We can't wait to read what you write!
